Established in 2017, the Knorr-Bremse Global Business Services (GBS) Liberec Center is a cornerstone of the Group’s European operations. Under the leadership of Markus Stöckle, Liberec serves as one of the largest hubs in the GBS organization and plays a key role in supporting and developing other GBS centers worldwide. Today, it employs over 400 professionals, making it one of the most strategically important locations in Europe.

Launched to centralize and standardize key business processes, the Liberec Center has expanded to include advanced Reporting, Controlling, and IT services. Its evolution from a European Shared Services hub to a global GBS model highlights its pivotal role in supporting Knorr-Bremse’s international strategy.
