Since its establishment, the Knorr-Bremse Global Business Services (GBS) Suzhou Center has been committed to providing efficient and professional services that support the Group’s business growth in the Asian Pacific region, while aligning with our global strategy and digital transformation. At the same time, the center is building a diverse and inclusive workplace culture, recognizing that collaboration across different perspectives is essential to innovation and long-term success.

A core mission of the GBS Suzhou Center is to drive standardisation across processes and systems. By harmonizing practices and consolidating expertise, the center ensures consistent service delivery, stronger compliance, and a solid foundation for further transformation.

Our Growth Journey

Launched in September 2024, the GBS Suzhou Center quickly grew to 81 team members and, in February 2025, relocated to the Suzhou Photonics Technology Park . The new facility not only provides advanced technology and infrastructure but also creates an environment where colleagues with varied backgrounds and expertise can collaborate effectively.

Core Services, Technology, and Standardisation

The GBS Suzhou Center delivers key support functions, including Finance and Controlling, Human Resources, Indirect Purchasing, and IT. With the adoption of advanced solutions such as the China VAT Automation Platform, intelligent expense reimbursement systems, and electronic approval platforms, the center has significantly improved efficiency, transparency, and data accuracy. By embedding standardisation into these processes, the center enables scalability and consistency, while freeing up employees to focus on higher-value activities.

Process Integration and Collaborative Synergies

By consolidating financial operations from Chongqing, Dalian, Hong Kong, Suzhou and other locations, the GBS Suzhou Center has streamlined end-to-end processes, optimized resource allocation, and reduced manual handling risks. These achievements reflect both strong technical expertise and the power of diverse teams working together towards common goals.
